The only mods I did to it were to 1 add TFO tritium-fiber optic front and rear sights thru OpticPlanet, which glow bright green during day, dusk and night; 2 polish the outside of the barrel chamber that shows through the slide, and 3 I did a letter fill on the slide using silver nail polish. So...one practical and two cosmetic. I don't believe Grayguns works on the Pro's FCU-quite frankly, it's already one of the best DA/SA trigger I have. The French contract run of Sig Pros were produced in Germany. During a time around 2010-2011 the frame production moved from Germany to Exeter. And the slide began to have the Nitron instead of Ilaflon. The triple serial numbered sp2022's in the states picked up by civilians are contract overruns. There are probably more versions of the Sigpro than most pistols as the transition to Exeter took place and assembly from remaining parts took place. Rest assured, your Exeter is also a fine pistol. I have both on two 2022's. I believe this part is interchangeable with the P250 {?}. I prefer the lower as I am paranoid about unintentional loss of the mag. Yes, these pistols are all over the map in terms of parts used. We have three and have two different slide markings, mag releases, triggers and grip configurations as from the factory. All three of ours are Exeter frames and all three are excellent pistols. No mods on mine, so far I haven't found the need. It's a great pistol as designed. Grimm's stippling mod intrigues me, I'd like to see pics of that. I am planning on experimenting with the smaller grip this weekend and see if that has a better feel to it for me. I got mine with the factory night sites, I think if I had contrast sites I'd replace them, but the factory night sights work well. I would look into something like a Trijicon RMR if they made one that fit a Sig Pro, but putting a site on that cost more than the pistol makes me think I'd rather just get a second pistol I would investigate some trigger work if it was available, mine is good but I think it could be a bit smoother. Other than that future possibility, I don't plan on messing with it. The SP2022 has got to be one of if not the best value for your investment in my book.
